Yeswehavenobananas is the brainchild of particularly promiscuous and neglectful parentage, that is, a sometime circus performer and special education pedagogue, Master Kidderminster, otherwise known as Cupid.

Cupid grew up with a sweet tooth and an aversion to all vegetables but canned (and coloured) marrowfat peas. He also grew up with a lot of undiagnosed food intolerances and the symptoms of what are taken to be separate conditions such as bipolar depression, AD(H)D, and Asperger’s syndrome. Here he documents his struggle to get on top of these “conditions” through nutrition and the many hurdles he encounters on the way.

In addition to being a circus performer, and a part of the occasionally successful Love Buzz, the Routemaster convoy, a circus-like educational outfit currently touring his native Black Country and teaching circus skills and social skills to students with learning difficulties, he writes fiction. The story of his struggle with nutrition is also a story of his struggle with his fiction, since though his overactive brain is a key part of his creativity, it also impedes it since, like others with such disorders, he finds it hard to complete any one project - as soon as he nears completion, he loses interest.
